What makes a link worth placing in 2026

Domain rating alone stopped being a useful filter years ago. Here is the quality checklist we run before any placement goes out the door.

Metrics are a starting point, not a verdict. A site can carry strong third party scores and still send no meaningful signal, because the scores measure links pointing in, not whether real people ever arrive.

Traffic that matches the topic

Organic traffic is the fastest sanity check, but the shape matters more than the number. A site with 40,000 visits that are all branded searches for an unrelated product will do nothing for a client in fintech.

We look for topical overlap between the host site's ranking keywords and the target page's subject.

Editorial pattern

Read the last twenty published posts. If nineteen of them are guest contributions with commercial anchors, the placement is sitting in a farm, whatever the metrics say.

Healthy sites publish for their own audience most of the time.

Placement context

Where the link sits inside the article matters. A contextual mention inside a paragraph that would exist regardless of the link is worth several times more than a bolted on resources list at the bottom.

Durability

Ask what happens in twelve months. Sites that churn content or rebuild their archives quietly drop links. We favour publishers with stable URLs and a track record of leaving articles live.

Link building on your terms

Order exactly what your client needs, when they need it. No retainers, no idle capacity.
